New project on the rise at Portarlington
New ground is literally being broken at the impressive Arlington Rise housing development at Portarlington.
Civil construction is proceeding at pace and its developers Urban Pacific are expecting an influx of buyer interest as summer approaches.
Urban Pacific’s Arlington Rise Project Director, Mr Nicholas Stabb, says the company continues to receive encouraging inquiries from potential buyers keen to secure their part in The Bellarine’s newest community.
“Our first purchasers already live in the area and were won over by the combination of Arlington Rise’s location, the sweeping views over Port Philip Bay, the on-site parks as well as the peaceful and attractive community we are going to deliver,” Mr Stabb said.
“Christmas and the summer holidays mean more people – be it locals or visitors to The Bellarine - will be heading to ‘the beach’ and we are confident this will translate to more sales.”
Arlington Rise is on an elevated part of The Bellarine and just 30 minutes drive from Geelong. The development is well serviced by schools, a swimming pool, supermarket, medical centre, pharmacy and range of cafés and restaurants.
When completed, Arlington Rise will comprise approximately 300 homes made up of family homes on traditional homesites as well as a selection of townhouses.
The development includes about two hectares of wetlands and parklands, and is only a few minutes walk to Portarlington’s main street, beach and pier.
Mr Stabb said that with the outlook for The Bellarine and the Greater Geelong Region looking positive, “we think that the mix of products on offer at Arlington Rise will appeal to everyone from first and second home buyers to empty nesters and retirees.”
“We also anticipate demand among a reasonable number of Melbourne and regional families seeking a coastal holiday home.”
Homesite sizes in the first stage range from 409sqm to 641sqm and start from $146,000.
Arlington Rise is on the corner of Sproat Street and Tower Road. Please phone 1800 771 112 or visit www.arlingtonrise.com.au for more information.
