St Clair Launch Success Highlights Strong Demand for Inner-Metro Land in South Australia

More than half of available homesites have been sold on day one of the highly anticipated first sales pre-release at St Clair, Adelaide’s newest residential address.

Strong demand for homesites in this well-located community saw eager purchasers queuing on site for three days in advance of the launch to ensure they were first in line to buy their dream homesite.

Urban Pacific South Australian General Manager, Mark Devine, said the Stage 1 pre-release of 25 homesites was offered exclusively to people who had registered on the St Clair VIP database. The homesites ranged in size from around 270 square metres up to approximately 512 square metres, and prices started from $230,000.

“Purchasers wanting to be the first to be part of this iconic residential development have acted quickly,” Mr Devine said.

“The level of interest generated through our online database has clearly demonstrated a strong demand for quality residential land close to the city.

“We want St Clair to emerge as a whole new community in a ‘park-like’ setting. We believe that due to its accessibility, the parklands will be a great benefit to the wider western suburbs community.”

AVJennings South Australian Executive General Manager, Peter Jackson, said St Clair would be developed to a high standard of architecture and urban design in both public and private spaces.

St Clair will be a landmark residential community development because of its wonderful inner-city location, diverse housing choices, fantastic open space, and proximity to established transport networks,” Mr Jackson said.

“Itis approximately 9km to the Adelaide CBD, 5km to the beach, and will have easy access to recreational and retail facilities, schools, major sporting venues and transport.

“We are confident the community will embrace the unique lifestyle opportunities on offer.”

St Clair will take an innovative approach to sustainable development including stormwater systems and wetlands which allow stormwater treatment and re-use within the development.

The project will be Adelaide’s first large scale, inner-metropolitan “water-wise” residential community. The overall site will provide more than 17 hectares of new open space and wetlands with the potential to deliver significant regional stormwater management and recycling benefits.

The first release of land to the general public will be on Saturday 25 October.
