Savannah Quarters Hosts 'Meet The Developer' Event
Pooler, Georgia, U.S.A. – 24 July 2007 – The management team at Savannah Quarters, Medallist’s exclusive gated residential and retail community 10 minutes west of historic Savannah hosted its first “Meet the Developer” event Tuesday July 24, 2007.
Mick O’Brien, Chief Operating Officer of Medallist U.S.A., innovated and introduced “Meet the Developer”. Designed to communicate progress and engage the community in the future, this series of events connects O’Brien with the residents of Westbrook, Savannah Quarters and the members of the Savannah Quarters Country Club.
O’Brien was introduced by Savannah Quarters Country Club General Manager, Philip Linaugh. He told the group that O’Brien’s six month tenure reflects visionary leadership and commitment to enriching the lives of our members and residents. As he turned the podium over to the “Aussie of the Hour,” O’Brien immediately connected with his audience. “I wonder who has a harder time understanding each other’s accents?”, said O’Brien. “We both have a southern accent…mine is just a little further south!”
During his presentation, O’Brien commended the community and said in his 30 years of experience, he has never observed a more dedicated and involved group of residents.
O’Brien discussed the recent visit of Wayne Rex, Chief Operating Officer, to Savannah Quarters and shared corporate strategies and direction for business growth in the U.S. and worldwide. O’Brien stressed the ongoing strength of the UPL and Medallist commitment to quality and integrity in each global initiative. He communicated his focus for the task at hand – building Savannah Quarters into the premier lifestyle community in the Southeast.
After hearing O’Brien’s inspiring presentation, one member exclaimed, “I feel really, really good about the direction he is taking our community and after meeting and hearing his plans for the future, we are in good hands.”
