Tennessee National Hosts Women's SEC Golf Championship
Tennessee National Golf Club hosted the SEC Women’s Golf Championships April 18-20, 2008. We had excellent crowds each day of the event and also received many compliments on the golf course from players, spectators and coaches.
“We really enjoyed having the SEC tournament at Tennessee National,” said Adam Foegen, Director of Golf. “These ladies are amazing; you’ll definitely be seeing some of them on the LPGA tour very soon.”
Stacy Lewis from Arkansas pulled off a victory for the Razorbacks in the individual competition and the Florida Gators won the team competition lead by 16 year old freshman Hannah Yun.
Tennessee National will be hosting numerous golf tournaments this summer including a U.S. Open qualifier on May 19th, AJGA Tournament August 4-7 and the U.S. Mid-Am Qualifier on August 11th.
