Urban Pacific Appoints WA General Manager
Leading national residential developer Urban Pacific Limited has appointed experienced architect and project manager James Pelc as General Manager Western Australia.
Specialising in complex and high profile built form and land subdivision projects, Mr Pelc has more than 18 years’ industry experience in Australia and the USA.
He holds a Masters of Architecture (Honours) and an MBA from the University of Illinois (USA) and a Bachelor of Economics from Northwestern University (USA).
For the past decade Mr Pelc has worked with LandCorp and the Premier’s Planning Taskforce as Project Director of the Rockingham Kwinana Development Office and as Project Director of 140 William Street, the WA State Government’s centrepiece for the revitalisation of the Perth CBD.
In his new role at UPL, Mr Pelc will be responsible for such major projects as the award-winning Somerly, Whitby and several planned new acquisitions. Urban Pacific Limited has residential developments worth more than $5 billion in Sydney, Newcastle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast.
